South Africa is a beautiful country. Even more beautiful is the coastal town Ballito where I live.
Ballito is in KwaZulu Natal in the area we call the North Coast. The climate is sub tropical as we are on the Eastern side of South Africa and are fed be the warm waters of the Mocambique current.
I am a horticulturalist and I work as an education officer at the Durban Botanic Gardens. I run a schools program that cultivates citizenship in learners through programs in the garden.
My name is Jody and I am passionate about plants. I studied horticulture at the Durban University of Technology under Jonathan Foley.
My Father named me after Jody Shekter, a South African who won the Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1979.
